The Grind Instructor Training

The Grind training is designed to give you the tools and techniques to create life-changing fitness experiences in every class you teach. We’re all here to create life changing fitness experiences for our members - every day, in every class. It’s a challenging journey but we promise you this - there’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone find their greatness.


Initial module training is an intensive 1-day course to equip you with the knowledge to be a Grind instructor. Lectures, discussions, practical sessions (work outs), and teaching practice will take place. Topics covered include:

  • Class structure and purpose, reasons for exercise sequencing, and class benefits
  • How to interpret, understand and learn the moves
  • How to perform and evaluate correct exercise technique
  • How and why exercises are executed in a particular way
  • How to coach the class so that it is both safe and inspirational
  • How to create a memorable, fun and effective workout experience
